My Christmas Present

Yeah, Yeah, I know I dropped the ball. Everybody has their pics all posted & up to date. Whatever (with a face frame finger W)! Here are some pics (I picked a few really quick, I'll have to post more later, see why: below) of our Christmas. Everybody got what they wanted, except the teenager...he wanted a million dollars. I told him that I was still waiting for mine! Hee Hee! Well anyways, we've been celebrating Christmas since the 23rd (& it just rolled over into "UFC Fight Night") so I have been busy.

Not to mention, My REAL BFF came over with her wonderful (& so cute purple flower covered) laptop so I could post. My lovely doo-doo crap computer decided to contract a ViRuS!!! So, I won''t be able to get on the computer until after Monday (at least). I guess Maysie wasn't the only one to get sick this December. Antibiotics for the computer anyone????

Merry Christmas EVE eve!

Fever's gone. Black eyes almost gone. No more achy ears! Yeah! (sing to the tune of Jingle Bells)

In light of all the wintry chaos, ONCE AGAIN my sweet baby MYLIE is a BREATH of FRESH AIR! She should have been named Perfection! She brings out the Merry in Merry Christmas. She has (so far) managed to stay healthy (it's funny how Maysie had the sudden urge to kiss her baby sis a lot more-you know..while being sick). She hasn't argued with me about putting her things in her room or helping around the house or getting off the computer or working on Math problems. She hasn't told me, "NO," threw herself on the floor crying, screamed in frustration, yelled at me to put Mickey Mouse back on the TV or ran away from me naked after her bath. Nope, not my sweet Mylie! So, this here little post goes out to my precious bReAtH oF FrEsH AiR! Merry Christmas Eve eve...just in case I don't post until after Christmas! Hope Santa brings you everything you wish for!!!! (I got what I wanted early...On the first day of Christmas my true love gave to me... a teenager who's moody as can be. On the second day of Christmas my true love gave to me...a bossy little toddler & a teenager who's moody as can be. On the third day of Christmas my true love gave to me...a good, chubby baby, a bossy little toddler & a teenager who's moody as can be...And I wouldn't want it any other way!!!) PooR 'o pOOr Mookie!

My little Mookie watched Mickey's Twice Upon A Christmas while I snapped shots of her black eye & irritated nose! If you ask her though, she'll tell you, "Aww bettow!" (For my friends that don't speak toddler...translation: All Better!)


I've been caught up with a cranky toddler & a cranky teenager! It is quite amazing how much they have have in common! The cranky toddler has a good excuse though. Poor Maysie has been sick since Friday. Actually, she had a cold in the beginning part of the week. It progressed into an ear infection. Again, picture Maysie holding her ear saying, "Owee, Owee!" Her fever shot up to 103 degrees pretty fast & that poor, poor nose was all red from "Mommy the Boogie Wiper!" Needless to say, she has been on yummy grape/watermelon flavored antibiotics (yes, I have to try EvErYtHiNg my babies eat/drink). So, she is back to jumpin off furniture & demanding her way!

As for the cranky teenager...do they have any antibiotics for moody?

SNOW STORM!!!

I know all my BFF's are taking pics and probably beat me to the punch, but here is what we did when I got home from work today. Everybody argued with me that this was not a SNOW STORM, but I know this is a SNOW STORM!!! How fun! I am so excited that Mylie's First Christmas is a white one! Oh, by the way, Maysie loves "TeeTee" (aka Mickey Mouse). So, her "Best Daddy In The World" made her a "TeeTee NOman." Maysie has a cold so snowman=noman. Mike stayed out an hour after we came in to finish the project!!!!! LOVE IT!

What a ShiNeR!!

Here's how it went down...we were playing in the playroom and Maysie stepped over my leg. Her foot caught the edge of my leg and she lost her balance. She fell and hit her head on the corner of her toy box!OW!! She cried (but not for too long). It would have broken your heart (just picture Maysie crying, "Owee, Owee, Owee" while grabbing her face). Poor girl! But, for the first time, it wasn't RiGhT before a birthday, pictures, holiday (well, Christmas...but it has 9 days to heal), etc... After she had several kisses to make it feel better, she pointed to the TV and said, "duck? duck?" which meant she wanted to watch Mickey Mouse's Twice Upon A ChRisTmaS!! I tried to put an ice pack on her eye and that didn't go over too well, so I thought of my BFF's (Blogger Friends Forever) and took pictures instead!

Post B-day!

So, you know how everybody asks, "what did you do for your b-day," well... I woke up and ate B-day cake for breakfast (Oh yes I did! 2 reasons. 1-I figured I would have ALL day to burn it off & 2-It was my B-day & I wanted to!). It was so YUMMY (my fav RED VELVET cake from Nothin' Bundt Cakes). My high school BFF brought it over on my B-day Eve.
I went to work & my loving hub (also my BFF) sent flowers from the girls. He has a very hard time buying anything for me. I was so impressed! Here is a pic (the flowers I had were yellow & purple & I had balloons with my bouquet):
He asked what I wanted. Instead of saying I don't know or nothing, I was honest. I said a DVD recorder that records from my DVR, a new camera, & a shopping spree when I lose ALL my weight (I'm halfway there now). And he said, "Done!" So, I can't wait to go pick out ALL my goodies (which will also be my X-mas presents, too). I also received a gift card to the movies from Andrea & Bath Goodies from Adriana.
Okay, after work, we went to The Yardhouse @ Town Square (I love that Spicy Tuna)! It was my mom, the girls, Mike, Carrie (my BFF), Jimmy, Nick, Justin, Andrea & ME! It was so much fun! We ate & went to see the "SNOW" by Santa's house. Then, we let Maysie & Justin play at the park! My mom offered to watch the girls so Mike & I could go out, but I couldn't picture my B-day any other way! I spent the evening with the people I love & the people that love me (minus Angel only because she had Family Night at her school-otherwise she would have been there)! I loved having my babies with me on my B-day (even though Maysie was grumpy at first)!
I also received a Coach keychain from Carrie's mom (I can put a pic on the back),
a Coach "M" charm from Carrie & Jimmy for ALL the "M's" in my life (Mike, Michael, Maysie, & Mylie),
and a Coach bracelet from Carrie & Jimmy.

Nick & Angel bought FLIP FLOPS, not SLIPPERS (Nick is from Hawaii & they call flip flops slippers), that I wanted (I asked them to pick them up for my while they were at Sports Chalet). They refused to let me pay them back so we decided they were my present. Oh yeah, my wonderful parents gave me money (can't go wrong there)!

So, if I were to grade this B-day...It would definitely get an A+! Thank you for all the B-day shout outs!

Oh yeah and..

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME! CHA CHA CHA HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME! CHA CHA CHA HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME-EE! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME! CHA CHA CHA (make sure you sing this a little out of tune...) I just love my birthday! Can you tell I'm a teacher?

Do you miss me!?

Good morning all! I have been so busy & unable to blog! I realized that when I blog, I neglect other things. So, I've been playing catch up. Here are the top ten things (in no particular order) that I've been catching up on:

1. Helping my mentee with her report card comments (& just being a shoulder to lean on).
   
2. My dishes...I hate dishes!
3. MY LAUNDRY...I really hate laundry.
4. I read more pages in Eclipse (Twilight series-3rd book).
5. CHRISTMAS shopping...yup, I'm finished and wrapped!
6. Watching ALL my DVR'd shows.
7. My hubby
8. Finished more pages in Mylie's "Shutterfly" book (just working on the journaling).
9. My backyard landscaping plans for the HOA (yes, I actually have to submit those & get approval)!
10. Sleep...HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA...yeah right...fooled you there...HA HA HA...what is sleep?...a mom can dream, right?...can't stop HA HA laughing...HA HA HA...
    

What do I do now???

Okay, so the day before Thanksgiving, I decided to stay home from the gym. So, what did I do? I decided to sort the girls' clothes. You know, take out the clothes that don't fit & replace them w/ clothes that do. What a mistake! The whole point of me staying home, was to RELAX before the 90 minute Spin class on Thanksgiving. Tuh?! I would have relaxed better at the gym. This project took all day & some of the next!!! Plus, once I started, there was NO turning back! My "helper" did a really good job of making sure I worked harder. Maysie kept rearranging my piles & sitting on boxes so I couldn't get in them. My husband thought of a quick fix to this problem in the future...stop buying so many clothes. Since that wasn't an option, I came up with a better idea. Buy, buy, buy & then pull out clothes as they don't fit!!! Needless to say...he THINKS he won....

Post-Turkey Post

Well, now that I have the chance, just wanted to say that we had a wonderful Thanksgiving (hope you did, too)! I made the deviled eggs & turkey (& I forgot to take a picture). They both turned out to be a success (thank you Oprah-for the turkey). We had dinner at my house. Thank you to my mom for doing EVERYTHING! Thank you to Arturo for the pies! We had French Apple & Kahlua Creme.

The shirt says it all! Those eyelashes make me SO jealous! Mylie is growing by the second. I can't believe it! I hope her blue eyes stay. I kiss them everyday.

Shout Out To My Twilighters!!

I had the best time meeting up with my Twilight Girlies! We went to a matinee showing at The Colonade Theaters today. The best part was the goodies (made by Nicole & Caitlyn-I think..sorry if I'm wrong)! Good lookin' out! Thank you for picking up the tickets, Leslie! Well, the movie was great! Even though the "Edward" wouldn't have been my 1st choice, he grew on me. My eye candy happened to be the villian, "James." But, as you all know, I seem to have a soft spot for those bad boys! Ha Ha! I can't wait until New Moon comes out! This post goes out to the cutie youngsters (sitting behind us) that cried during the movie!

We will miss her!

This is a not so happy post. But, it is dedicated to Great Grandma Millie. She passed away after 83 golden years today. I'm so glad she was able to watch my family grow in numbers. So, this goes out to keep her memory alive (since I am saddened that my girls won't have the opportunity to meet such a nice & caring woman!) Word up to all the Great Grannies (& Grannies, too)!

My First Post!

It's my first post! I thought I'd know exactly what to type...Ha! For the first time I'm speechless (typeless)! Well, this is really just a tester. So, how did I do? Oh and for all the haters... yes, I went there. Ice, Ice Baby too cold! Gotta show love to the old school. You know you all rocked this song. So, I'm gonna own it!
