I think this picture is one for my Hall Of Fame! Every time I see it, I am reminded why I wanted to have my kids so close together (12 months & 9 days to be exact). And, YES we planned it that way! I was called crazy, nuts, impatient, brave, and even unfair (to Maysie). Despite all the "criticism," Mike and I went forward with our plan for our family. I'm not saying that everyday isn't a challenge or that it's all X's & O's. It's more like push, kick, pull, "It's mine," "No Mylie," "waaaaa!" BUT...it's these moments that make it all worth it! I look at this picture and I see Sisters...no...better...Best Friends!P.S. I also see that they look like the same size!!! LOL! For the curious...Mylie weighs 20 lbs 2 oz. and 28 in. long & Maysie weighs 25 lbs. and 33 in. long. Really though...how funny is it that Mylie looks like she doesn't know what's going on (refer back to push, kick, pull...)

ReplyDeleteThat is too cute. I have a very similar picture of Jace and Ethan. They were younger than Mylie and Maysie, but your picture instantly made me think of the picture of my boys. There's a lot of the same "love/hate" going on at my house... but I hope Jace and Ethan will be best of friends as they grow up.
